If your skis feel sluggish or your edges aren't gripping anymore, it's probably time for a tune. We handle everything here — waxing, edge work, base repair, binding mounts, boot fitting. Doesn't matter if you're skiing twice a season or every weekend. Bring your stuff in and we'll get it right. No appointment needed.
Normal turnaround: 7 days. Anything less than 7 days will incur a rush fee — added to baseline cost.
Everything Your Gear Needs
Hot Wax & Base Work
Wax wears off. That's just how it works. If your bases look dry or whitish, they need a fresh coat. We do a quick hot wax if you just need to get out this weekend, or a full base prep if you want it done right for the season.
Edge Sharpening & Full Tune-Ups
You know that feeling when you go to make a turn on hardpack and nothing happens? That's dull edges. Around here, with the ice we get, sharp edges aren't optional. A full tune gets you edge sharpening, hot wax, a base inspection, and a binding check. We set everything to factory specs unless you want something different.
Binding Mounting & Adjustment
Got new skis? We'll mount the bindings and set your DIN so everything releases the way it should. If you already have bindings mounted, we do seasonal checks and adjustments too. If you've got kids, this one's worth paying attention to — they grow, their weight changes, and last year's DIN setting isn't going to be right this year.
Boot Fitting
A lot of people think ski boots are supposed to hurt. They're not. If your feet are killing you by lunchtime, something's off. We do heat molding, shell adjustments, footbeds, buckle alignment — whatever it takes to get the fit right. Adults and kids. Just walk in, we'll take care of it.

We do the same work on boards that we do on skis. Wax, edges, base repair, binding mounting, stance setup. If you ride, bring it in.

Common Questions About Ski & Snowboard Tuning
How often should I wax my skis or snowboard?
Every 4–6 days on the mountain is a good rule of thumb. If the base looks dry or white, don't wait. A hot wax is quick — in and out.
Do new skis need to be tuned or waxed?
Factory wax lasts a day or two at best. A real hot wax and edge tune before your first day out makes a big difference. Everything we sell goes out tuned and waxed already.
What does a full tune-up include?
Edge sharpening, hot wax, base inspection, repair if it needs it, and a binding function check. We can tune to factory specs or set custom angles if you have a preference.
How much does ski tuning cost?

Daily and seasonal rentals leave the shop tuned, waxed, and checked. Rent a seasonal package and 100% of the rental cost can go toward buying the gear if you decide to keep it before April 15th.
